A Typical 4x4 Tour in France
Our French 4x4 tours are relaxed, enjoyable and full of adventure. If feels like a holiday on wheels and crossing to a different country immediately feels special. We use WhatsApp to communicate details and answer any questions prior to meeting up.
We meet in the morning around 0900 on the first day. After a short welcome, safety briefing and radio check, it's time to head off and explore, led by Stuart and Maggie. There will be no more than 6 vehicles.
Using the network of ‘Chemin Verts’, unsurfaced roads that in UK we call ‘Green Lanes’, we'll travel through countryside, village, forest and coastline, discovering the remote places that many visitors never get to see. Depending on the tour, we follow historic D-Day routes, explore the dramatic coast or visit remarkable monuments.
All routes are carefully planned and checked in advance and the guides have excellent local and historical knowledge.
Whether you're joining us for history, scenery or simply the enjoyment of driving your 4x4 somewhere different, our aim is to give you a memorable experience that you'll be talking about long after you return home.

Tours are listed on our website and on our social media pages (Facebook and Instagram). To book, email us or fill in our booking form. We also list all our tours on our regular mailing list. Customers who sign up receive advanced notice of events and tours before they go on social media, plus many informative articles. To join our mailing list, click here.
In addition to our French group tours we organise UK tours and events. Taking in the best of Wales, Devon and East Anglia and all of the home counties. Our more distant routes involve camping, or in winter hotel accommodation, and are an immersive experience of the laning and overlanding world.
